The Question: What's wrong with dating someone who's not a Christian? 
The Point: Dating unbelievers divides your loyalties.

Scripture: 
2 Corinthians 6:14-18
1 Corinthians 15:33

Life Principles:
Darkness and light don't mix.
You don't share the most important thing in common.
You could be pulled down.

Questions to ask:
Why do you think it's important to only date other believers?

What does it mean in the Bible to not be mismatched with unbelievers?

How does that verse apply to dating?

If Jesus holds first place in your life and doesn't in the person you are dating, what problems might arise?

What are the risk factors involved in dating a non-believer?

The Question: How can I date in a way that honors God? 
The Point: God has called you to holy living.

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8

Life Principles:

Please God in all you do.
Abstain from any sexual behavior. 
Consider the other person first.
Remember you're called to holiness.


Questions to ask:
What role does God currently play in your dating relationships?

Would you consider Him part of the dating relationships or an outsider? Why?

What are some things you can do to make sure that God holds on to first place during a date?

What steps will you take to make sure that you save sex for marriage?

What will you do to make sure that their honor and relationship with God are put first in your relationship with them?

Life Principles:
· Follow God's plans.
· Listen to godly wisdom.
· Don't be driven by lust.
· Understand the consequences of a wrong decision.

Questions to ask:
When do you think is the right time to start dating?

Do you feel like you could ask me for advice or thoughts about dating? Why or why not?
How do you feel about asking other trusted adults?

How can you determine if lust is driving your desire to date someone?

When you look 10 years down the road, what could be the consequences for wrong choices in your dating life?
